The Torchlight Procession on 30th December is the start of three days of spectacular >Edinburgh's Hogmanay events. Joining the Up Hell Aa Vikings from the Shetland Islands last year were over 35,000 participants including, massed pipes & drums and thousands of torch carriers as they illuminated the city from the starting position of George IV Bridge to the viewing areas ending on Calton Hill. The Torchlight Procession fireworks finale can be viewed across the city and beyond and expects to be even bigger and more spectacular this year.
